When you take one of our Online or Onsite courses, you have the option of applying for
Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit, awarded by Pierce College, one of Washington State's
largest community colleges.
To receive CEU credit for an online or on-site course offered by
Write Words: American Writing Services, you must:
- Complete the entire course and all assignments. For on-site courses, full attendance is required.
- Fill out a Continuing Education Registration Form. For on-site courses, this form will be provided by your instructor. You may also download the form. Click here for instructions on how to complete this form.
- Complete the form, and mail it with a check made out to "Pierce College" for $25 US (non-refundable)
directly to the following address:
PIERCE COLLEGE
ATTN: CONTINUING ED - RENEE PHOENIX
9401 FARWEST DRIVE SW
LAKEWOOD WA 98498-9988
Because
Write Words: American Writing Services will notify
Pierce College of date of your course completion, you must mail the Continuing Education Registration Form
and the fee to Pierce College within 10 days of completing the course.
You will note that the form has a block for your social security number (SSN). We advise you make
the notation "Assign SID" in that box rather than put your social security number. Pierce College
will then assign you a Student ID Number without your social security number information.
Leave the Pierce College Student ID Number block empty unless you have a valid Pierce College
Student ID Number.
Once you are given a Student ID Number, you can use your Student ID Number for any other courses
you take from
Write Words: American Writing Services for Continuing Education Unit credits.
Write Words: American Writing Services will certify completion
with Pierce College and you should receive your certificate within 45 days.
Please note:
You are responsible for confirming that your employer or licensing agency will accept
Pierce College Continuing Education Unit credits for the particular course you intend to take
prior to registering for CEU credit with the college.
